Description

As a kid growing up I hated Brussels sprouts. My mom would steam them and they always reminded me of soggy little cabbages. As I've gotten older my tastebuds have changed a bit, but I've also learned to cook them so that they taste so much better - they are one of my favorite veggies now, and even my kids will eat a few. Here is my favorite, easy way to cook them…

    Directions

    1. Preheat oven to 425, put foil on a cookie tray (for easy cleanup) and spray the foil with cooking spray
    2. Chop any brown ends off and cut the Brussels sprouts in half
    3. Drizzle with olive oil (I use a pastry brush to help me with this - it helps you use less oil and covers each veggie when you just brush a little on the top of each one) and sprinkle with sea salt, black pepper and garlic powder
    4. Roast on 425 until the edges start to turn brown, about 20-25 minutes. If you want, broil on hi for the last 1-2 minutes to get them nice and crispy.
    5. Enjoy!!! I seriously could eat an entire tray like this without even batting an eye, I really think they taste that good.
