The first time I served these truffles was at a winter holiday party but I got so many requests for them they became a year-round favorite. They make a great food gift and take a prominent place on a mixed cookie platter. I have also put them in individual truffle papers for finer engagements and boxed them whenever an extra special gift is needed.
