Ingredients

  • 1/2 garlic clove
  • 2 ounces white wine
  • fresh parsley
  • olive oil
  • 16 anchovies
  • salt
  • breadcrumbs

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius.
  2. Add the garlic, wine, parsley, and oil to a blender. Blend until emulsified.
  3. In a baking dish, place the butterflied anchovies and salt them.
  4. Pour the garlic mixture onto the anchovies. Sprinkle with breadcrumbs. Bake for 5 to 7 minutes.

This recipe is great for people who want to add a little more to the average anchovy. The garlic mixture is good and is also a good base in case you want to add a little bit more to it in way of spices. Breading them gives that extra crunch that really pulls it all together.
