Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter (divided)
  • 8 ounces fresh mushrooms (sliced)
  • black pepper
  • garlic powder
  • crushed red pepper
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth (or white wine, if needed to help saute the mushrooms)
  • 3/4 pound bacon (I use center cut bacon to reduce fat)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/3 cup serrano peppers (chopped, or other spicy pepper of your choice)
  • 3 cloves garlic (finely chopped)
  • 1 cup heavy cream (room temperature)
  • 1 cup shredded parmesan cheese (room temperature)
  • 4 eggs (room temperature)
  • 1 pound pasta (your choice. We like a thick spaghetti.)
  • 1/3 cup fresh parsley (minced)
