All the goodness of pizza minus the grease! This classic sweet and savory combo is packed with flavor, perfectly portioned, and ready in under 30.

Ingredients

  • 2 whole wheat naan
  • 1/2 red onion (thinly sliced)
  • 1 cup arugula
  • 1 cooked chicken breasts (shredded)
  • 2 tablespoons cilantro (finely chopped)
  • 2 ounces mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup bbq sauce

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 450F.
  2. Thinly slice the onion, and finely chop the cilantro. Shred the chicken, as needed.
  3. Line a baking tray with parchment paper, and place the whole wheat naan on the baking tray.
  4. Spread the barbecue sauce evenly over the naan.
  5. Layer the red onion and chicken on top of the naan.
  6. Tear the mozzarella and sprinkle over the naan pizzas.
  7. Bake the pizzas for 15-20 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
  8. Remove the naan pizzas from the oven, and sprinkle with fresh cilantro.
  9. Top each pizza with arugula, and enjoy!

I used a tomato sauce as my base and I must say, we were blown away by how awesome this was. Will definitely be making this meal again and again.
So good! The red onion really complements the bbq and chicken!!! Arugula was a nice fresh touch

Easy to make and great tasting. We customized a bit for those not liking certain ingredients.

Turned out great! Super easy to make!! I added some fresh basil I had on hand to mine and omitted the cilantro (because I didn't have any)! I highly recommend this recipe!!!!
