Well, I followed the directions precisely and instead of cooking in the instant pot I got the dreaded BURN message trying to pressure cook it. I then stirred it around and could definitely feel a crust on the bottom so I stirred and scraped it all off, turned it off for maybe 5 minutes, and then tried again. Just got BURN again so I stirred and dumped the whole thing into a pot. Seemed to taste ok, but certainly not great. I have no idea why it went this way except maybe after sautéing I should have let it cool before pressurizing. I dunno. Disappointing.

So delicious! Definitely going in rotation.

Delicious. Thought the jalapeño might make it too hot but it gave it just enough kick. Definitely make it again

Made for Sunday football in Instant Pot. Cooking start to finish was 3hr and tasted amazing

It was really good! We added a bit too much cayenne but it still managed to not be overbearing with the spice, and that’s from someone who finds red pepper flakes too much.

This turned out great. My family loved it, I won the chili cook off at our block party. This is our new go-to chili recipe

I tasted it a few times to get the right amount of seasoning (i.e. I added more paprika ‘coz I love it). And I added Tabasco instead of chili powder...so good!

I love this recipe! It is my new family chili! Didn’t add Jalapeños Or cilantro as I’m not a fan of either it is delicious and makes enough for 6 to 8 people which I noticed most of the recipes only make enough for four

Great taste, a little involved to make. I’m used to dumping everything in the slow cooker and walking away. More cooking involved with this recipe

This was by far one of the best chili’s I’ve had. Flavor was on point. I did add whole white mushrooms that I cut into quarters and 3 extra pieces of bacon because, well it’s bacon and bacon is awesome! I didn’t add Jalapeño peppers this round. Wanted to taste the chili without the fire the first round. Love the taste of Jalapeños but not so much the burn. I’ll definitely add it when it gets cold out. I have saved this recipe in my recipe book and it will be my go to chili recipe. Thank you so much for sharing it!

One of, if not the best chili recipes ever! The spice blend is perfect! We’re adding this one to our family recipe app!

Turned out really good. I left out the jalapeños bc I don’t like to much spice but it still had great flavor.
