  • 1 avocado (flesh scooped out)
  • 1 onion (small, peeled and finely chopped)
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 20 mushrooms (closed-cap, such as button or crimini, stems removed)
  • 1/2 red bell pepper (seeded and minced)
  • chili powder (for dusting)
  • allspice (for dusting)

Directions

  1. Mash the avocado with the onion and lemon juice. Transfer to a piping bag fitted with a large star-shaped nozzle.
  2. Pipe the avocado mix into the mushroom caps. Garnish with the chopped pepper and sprinkle with the chili and allspice.
