This recipe for Avocado Mousse makes the perfect dip for chips or crackers, or even for a fresh veggie platter, and can be served as an appetizer at your next dinner party or event. Flavored with lime, garlic, and onion, this avocado mousse is smooth and creamy. Made with a combination of cream and mayonnaise, the buttery smoothness of the avocado takes this dip to the next level. Refrigerate for at least 8 hours before serving.

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon unflavored gelatin
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2 cups avocado (diced)
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup cream
  • 1 lime
  • salt
  • 1 piece onion
  • garlic salt

Directions

  1. Hydrate the gelatin in the water. Microwave for 15 seconds. Set aside.
  2. In a blender, add the avocado, mayonnaise, cream, lime juice, salt to taste, onion, garlic salt, and gelatin.
  3. Pour into a mold and refrigerate for 8 hours.
  4. Plate and serve with crackers.
