Ingredients

  • 5 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon dry sherry
  • 3 tablespoons oil
  • 1 tablespoon sweet chili sauce
  • 1 ounce pickled ginger (finely chopped)
  • 1/2 bunch chives (sliced)
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds (toasted)
  • 1 red chili pepper (deseeded and chopped)
  • 1 pound filet mignon (diced)
  • 2 spring onions (sliced)

Directions

  1. For the sauce, mix together the soy sauce and sherry. Season. Add the oil and chili sauce then mix in the ginger, chives, sesame seeds and chili pepper. Stir in the diced steak, mixing well to coat it in the sauce. Sprinkle with the spring onions to serve.
