Delicious! Followed the recipe exactly except I started marinating the tofu the night before to save time when I got home from work. This is one of my new faves.

was wonderful, even my kids loved it! made with brown rice and broccoli. might use a tad less ginger next time as the flavor of it over powered the other flavors. over all, a great healthy meal i will be making on a regular basis!

really enjoyed this! the spice was beautiful. i added extra pepper flakes, and it was lovely with a bit of heat. i pressed the tofu for about 4 hours and it soaked up the marinade so well!

I tripled the sauce but only used a 1 tsp of red pepper flakes. I have a 9 & 13 year old and the 9 year old felt it was too spicy (I agree it was slightly too spicy). Just beware of the red pepper flakes and reduce the sugar based on the sweetness you prefer and you should be good. Add whatever veggies you like. I will probably keep looking for a better sauce but this one is fine.

Good flavor with the sauce. we substituted a sweet and tangy Trader Joes BBQ for hoisin sauce and it turned out great. I do wish the tofu got a little crispier. Perhaps try some of the breading options discussed in other comments.

Followed the recipe exactly. It was a very good tofu recipe. I sauteed broccoli, peppers and mushrooms on the side. Will definitely make again.
