    I made some slight alterations, the butter needed more time to melt in order to mix the batter, I also added 1t of almond extract. The batter is quite dense which is overcome by the baking powder once it's in the oven. I like the light sweetness of the batter since the apricots can be quite sweet. Overall it's a great recipe.
