Apple Pancakes and Hazelnuts


Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. It sets the stage for all that is to come after. If you prepare an amazing breakfast, chances are, the day will be better. This recipe for Apple Pancakes and Hazelnuts is worth making and serving your loved ones in bed. These are hearty sweet and salty pancakes that are best with either honey, maple syrup or butter on top. Don’t forget to sprinkle some extra hazelnuts on top. Yum!


  • 2 eggs
  • milk (35 cl.)
  • 260 grams flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 30 grams sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 30 grams sugar
  • 3 apples
  • honey
  • maple syrup
  • honey
  • hazelnuts (flaked, or almonds)


  1. 1In a bowl, beat the eggs with the milk.
  2. 2In another bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, and sugar.
  3. 3Add the eggs and milk to the flour mixture.
  4. 4Peel the apples and grate them thick.
  5. 5Add the apples to the batter. Stir gently.
  6. 6Heat a skillet, add a ladle of batter, cook, flip, and cook the other side.
  7. 7Pour honey or maple syrup on top, and sprinkle with hazelnuts.
