- 500 grams apples (peeled and cut in small pieces)
- 200 grams sugar
- 50 mL water
- 1 tsp. cinnamon powder
- 3 cardamom pods (slightly open)

Directions
- Put all ingredients in a small saucepan.
- Cook over low heat until apples are soft and translucent, stirring. Use a wooden spoon to mash remaining large pieces of apple.
- Remove from heat.
