I followed the instructions exactly and my husband and I thought it was weird tasting. I used McCormick Onion gravy mix. I am not sure why they had you add a tablespoon of water because the sauce was like soup. If anything you need less liquid. I did like the way the pork chops were cooked they were super tender. I think I might try it with some other seasonings instead of the onion soup mix because the veggies and the meat was great just the seasonings were odd like the tomato sauce does not go with the onion gravy mix. I will not make this again with the onion gravy mix and do not recommend this recipe without some severe tweaking.

It was out of this world.. I did it just as the recipe call ed for. I would not change a thing. My family loved it to and they do not like tomatoes but this was just great for them. They asked me to make it again..

was amazing.. modified it heavily.. swapped onions for the peppers, and didn't have time for doing in the oven so seasoned and browned chops in fry pan then removed, cooked onions and mushrooms, added garlic, had to edit due to allergies again so no soup mix used (1/4 c almond meal, 2 T chicken base, and 1T Dijon mustard bit of onion powder and garlic powdere) added that with the tomato sauce, and added the pork chops back and cover and simmered on stove top.30 min or so.
