Almond Tart

Almond Tart

This lovely tart is made by first cooking the crust until light golden and starting to set in the center, which will prevent it from getting too soggy once the filling is added. The dough comes together quickly and is made with just flour, sugar, margarine, and egg. Docking it with a fork once it's in the pan will make sure it holds its shape and doesn't puff up during baking. The filling is simply sliced almonds, margarine, sugar, and milk that's cooked to a cream.

200 grams flour
150 grams sugar
125 grams margarine
1 eggs
150 grams sliced almonds
125 grams margarine
125 grams sugar
4 tablespoons milk

1Add the sugar to the egg and stir until it becomes a whitish mixture.
2Add the flour.
3Melt the margarine and add to it.
4Bar the baking tray.
5Place the dough and poke with a fork not to grow.
6Put in the oven until it gets a blonde color (approx. 25m 400ºF)
7In a pan on the stove, mix the almonds, margarine, sugar and milk to form a homogeneous cream.
8Pour the cream over the dough.
9Place in the oven again for about 25 minutes or until golden.
