Description
Sweet, salty, and just the right amount of gooey, this no butter almond pie will satisfy your every craving. Perfectly nutty with the crunch of almonds this recipe has step by step instructions to make a delectable dessert that will be ready in 45 minutes.
Ingredients
- 200 grams flour
- 170 grams sugar
- 2 eggs
- 75 grams margarine (softened)
- 1/2 lemon juice
- 150 grams sugar
- 125 grams chopped almonds
- 100 grams margarine
- 1 deciliter milk
Directions
- 1Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
- 2Grease a 25 centimeter pie mold with margarine, or line with parchment paper.
- 3Mix all the pie crust ingredients until you get a smooth texture.
- 4Spread the dough in the pie mold, and bake for about 15 minutes.
- 5While the crust bakes in the oven, place all topping ingredients in a saucepan or frying pan, and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir often until golden. Remove from heat.
- 6Remove the crust from the oven, and cover with almond topping.
- 7Bake for 5 to 10 minutes, until caramelized. Do not let it get too dry.
