If you're new to making octopus, give this recipe a try. It is really detailed and the outcome is pretty good. The cucumber adds a different type of flavor and texture. It was very spicy as written, and next time I may have to cut back on the chilies or pepper to make it a little more family friendly. But overall, the adults loved this one.
