  • 2 pounds elk meat (ground, can be swapped for any other ground meat of choice)
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 1 cup Granny Smith apple (chopped)
  • 2 tablespoons dried sage
  • 4 slices bacon (diced)
  • 2 teaspoons fine sea salt

Used ground venison instead. Should have slightly cooked the bacon first then crumbled it In with meat as I was worried that it wasn’t completely cooked inside the loaf. Was really good and leftovers are great with sliced pickled jalapeños!
Great taste! Easy to prep and even easier to devour!
