I would definitely make it again my husband is very picky and he liked it, you kind of have to try the sauce before adding chicken bc it can taste a bit to much like oranges but you end up getting the right taste.

Did not look like the photo family said it was very orange tasting

I didn’t use two oranges because I know how powerful zest can be. I only used one and the zest was still way overpowering. I really likes it so did my kids but will make a few alterations for next time.

Didn’t care for it to say the least. What a waste of good fruit! The orange was too overpowering even though I hardly added any zest.

Great for family! I’d make it again. Doesn’t take too long!

I don’t know how to see the recipe it just won’t let me. Other than that I love it

This was delicious! I marinated my chicken in a mixture of teriyaki sauce, soy sauce, and orange juice. I let it sit all day, then drained liquid off and proceeded with covering the pieces with flour and cooking them. Definitely will make this again!!

I made this tonight, but changed up one ingredient little bit. I added shrimp with the chicken. In addition, I used marmalade instead of oranges. It was delicious!

Loved it!! it has a great taste.

Very tasty for how simple it was to make. I didn't have fresh oranges so I used high pulp orange juice but it turned out well.

Could barely choke down 2 bites. Husband hated it too and we threw it in the trash and went and got burgers. Horrible after taste.

Amazing!! Making it again definitely. Easy. New fam fave. Made with half rice half Caulie rice.

I was really hopeful for this recipe and I hated it. I could only manage two bites. I’m giving it two stars because my very picky husband said it was “ok” and actually ate his portion. I told my friend how much I disliked this recipe and another one that called for coconut oil and she said it may be my choice of oils. I used unrefined oil and she said that I should have been using refined oil for a better taste. I’m not willing to try this recipe again but it’s something to consider if you do.

Decent go lighter on the orange maybe 1 1/2

Definitely making this again. I bought sugar free BBQ sauce that was really yummy and so since there’s no added sugar and the chicken isn’t deep fried, it was guilt free and tasted soooooo good. The orange juice was sweet enough to sweeten the sauce. The sauce didn’t thicken as much as I wanted but still delicious.

I tried this recipe and my family loved it !!! Next time I’m going to try a different bbq sause besides open pit original...

It turned out great! The barbeque sauce I used had a bit of spice that really added to this dish! If make it again in a heart beat!

it was okay. i added a little too much orange zest, might dial it back a little next time.

This turned out pretty good. I only had dark meat chicken so I think white meat would be better. The sauce was very delicious. I would definitely make this again.

This turned out more like a teriyaki chicken than an orange chicken recipe. I wouldn't say it was terrible, but definitely not tasty either. I won't try this recipe again.

gross did not like it at all

It was delicious! My son loves orange chicken from our local Chinese restaurant and he said it was just as good. I agree!
