No need to fire up the grill! This quick barbecue salmon can be made in the oven with only four ingredients.
- 4 salmon fillets (Atlantic, 5 oz each)
- 1 teaspoon butter
- 3 tablespoons barbecue sauce
- 1 lemon
- Preheat the oven to 400°F.
- Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and spray with nonstick cooking spray.
- Rinse the salmon filets under cool water. Gently pat them dry with paper towels, then place on the baking sheet, skin side down.

great flavor, would definitely add more glaze about 1/2-3/4 through the cooking time. I also always recommend using a thermometer instead of time to cook your salmon to perfection

This was good and easy to make, way better than the recipe with honey, butter and lemon glaze. Tip: be generous with the bbq sauce because the taste is not rich and very light. Had it with Greek salad 👍

Simple, delicious and easy to follow. Perfect for a weeknight dinner, served with asparagus and roasted red potatoes tossed with garlic and olive oil. All diners really enjoyed and several asked for a second helping. I'd probably add a couple extra salmon filets or get larger portions next time if I know I'm feeding a really hungry crowd. Depending on your oven and thickness of the salmon, may need an extra minute or so under the broiler. I ended up checking at 7 minutes and found it needed about 2 more minutes. Have made this recipe twice now and will definitely make again. Two thumbs up!
