Description

Think of these as cake pops without the sticks—meaning they are entirely appropriate for a grown-up birthday party or other celebration. This recipe calls for store-bought chocolate cake, but you can certainly start by baking your own favorite cake if desired. Cream cheese and Nutella are added to the cake-crumb filling, which is then coated in three different types of melted chocolate: white, dark, and milk chocolate. Sprinkles are a festive flourish.

Ingredients

350 grams chocolate cake (storebought)
200 grams cream cheese
1 tablespoon Nutella
150 grams milk chocolate (white, dark and, each.)
sprinkles (Sugar)

Directions

1On a medium bowl, crumble the chocolate cake.
2Add half of the cream cheese. Stir with a fork and add Nutella.
3Mix, until smooth.
4Using a teaspoon, make small balls of dough. Add more cream cheese if necessary.
5Arrange cake balls on a plate and refrigerate for 2 hours.
6Melt the different chocolates, quickly dip cake balls, and place them on a parchment paper.
7Decorate with sprinkles and let them harden at room temperature or in the refrigerator.
8Then I would advise you to store them in a cool place until serving.
