Description

  • 2 large eggs (lightly beaten)
  • 4 cups day old rice (long grain white or Jasmine rice)
  • 1/4 pound shrimp (small, peeled and cleaned, tail optional)
  • 1/2 pound Chinese BBQ pork (cooked and diced; buy at an Asian market or Chinese restaurant)
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon chicken bouillon (powdered)
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1 teaspoon toasted sesame oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 3 scallions (thinly sliced on a bias)
  • 1/2 teaspoon white pepper

    folding the egg into the rice made my rice clump up into a big mess. i would definitely cook the egg prior to adding rice next time.
