Sugar Pumpkin

First, you'll need a nice, small sugar pumpkin (also known as sugar pie pumpkins, or pumpkin pie pumpkins). Other types of small pumpkins work okay too, but you generally want a pumpkin that is small and heavy for its size, as these are naturally sweeter & fleshier than the kinds of pumpkins you carve up for Halloween.

It's easy to do in advanced if you plan ahead and the results are definitely worth it when it's done right!
