Chef Bob Blumer came up with the method a long time ago, having discovered that the average temperature of the normal cycle on a dishwasher is approximately 130 to 150 degrees Fahrenheit - the perfect temperature for poaching salmon! For this, you'll need a fairly standard dishwasher with a normal cycle and a long, slow drying system.
