I've been looking for a BBQ sauce recipe that includes vinegar. I like to have the vinegar offset the sweetness, and this has the perfect combination. I made this exactly as stated, with all of the ingredients. Kept the hot sauce the same, but may up it next time just to add a bit more heat. The lemon taste is present, but there could be more there as well. This sauce is great for many different things too, and does it all well – basting, serving, or dipping. Delicious on any type of meat, but we love it for pulled pork sandwiches the best.
