  • 2 liters water
  • 100 grams green peas (frozen, defrosted)
  • 5 tbsps grated coconut (optional)
  • 1 tsp black mustard seeds
  • 1 tsp urad dal (white, washed and soaked in hot water for 30 minutes)
  • 1 tsp channa dal (washed and soaked in hot water for 30 minutes)
  • 2 tsps green chilies (slit)
  • 1/4 tsp ground turmeric
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 sprigs fresh curry leaves (washed and torn)
  • 2 tbsps coriander leaf (fresh, washed and chopped, to garnish)

  • 10 cashew nuts (dry roasted, to garnish, optional)
