Ingredients

  • 200 grams vermicelli
  • 2 liters water
  • 100 grams green peas (frozen, defrosted)
  • 41/2 tbsps grated coconut (optional)
  • 1 tsp black mustard seeds
  • 1 tsp dal (white Urad, washed and soaked in hot water for 30 minutes)
  • 1 tsp channa dal (washed and soaked in hot water for 30 minutes)
  • 2 tsps green chilies (slit)
  • 1/4 tsp tumeric (powder)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 sprigs curry (fresh, leaves, washed and torn)
  • 2 tbsps coriander (fresh, leaves, washed and chopped, to garnish)

  • 9 cashews (dry roasted, to garnish, optional)
