  • 2 tbsps fish sauce (*, such as nam pla or nuoc nam)
  • 2 tbsps sauce (Asian sweet chili, *)
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 9 ozs bean thread noodles (**)
  • 12 cherry tomatoes (halved)
  • 12 medium shrimp (cooked peeled deveined)
  • 1 12 cups cooked chicken (shredded)
  • 1 12 cups bean sprouts (about 3 1/2 ounces, rinsed)
  • 12 hothouse cucumber (English, very thinly sliced, about 1 cup)
  • 12 cup mint leaves (lightly packed fresh)
  • 12 cup fresh basil leaves (lightly packed, torn if large)
  • 12 cup cilantro leaves (lightly packed fresh)
  • 13 cup shallots (thinly sliced)
  • 1 red (jalapeño chile with seeds, sliced into thin rings)
  • 2 tbsps toasted peanuts (chopped)
