  • 1 12 tbsps vegetable oil (divided i use dark sesame seed)
  • 1 tbsp minced garlic
  • 1 tbsp gingerroot (minced)
  • 16 shrimp (peeled and deveined)
  • 1 egg (lightly beaten)
  • 2 tbsps soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp fish sauce
  • 1 tbsp rice wine vinegar
  • 12 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1 tsp brown sugar
  • 7 ozs rice noodles (soaked in warm water for 10 to 15 minutes then drained)
  • 12 cup bean sprouts
  • 3 scallions (sliced)
  • 1 cup cilantro leaf (chopped i omitted this ingredient because my family doesn t like the taste)
  • 1 lime juice (zest)
