  • 1/3 cup light soy sauce
  • 1/3 cup rice vinegar
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 3 tbsps white sugar
  • 1/2 tsp ground ginger
  • 1/4 tsp ground black pepper
  • 3 cups chicken breasts (shredded, cooked)
  • 1/3 cup chopped cilantro fresh
  • 1/3 cup green onions (chopped)

Sesame seeds, bow tie pasta, and cilantro are three of my favorite things. A recipe combining all three made my day! This salad is absolutely delicious and so refreshing. I like it warm but LOVE it served cold. I made the recipe as shown but tweaked it a little. First I added julienned carrots and sliced cherry tomatoes and only added 1/3 cup oil as I felt 1/2 cup might overwhelm the recipe. I refrigerated the whole dish after I made it and after it completely cooled I topped it with some cashew halves right before serving. It was out of this world good and I received a lot of compliments on it! My husband prefers to eat this salad warm so warm or cold is really a matter of personal preference. This recipe is a new favorite recipe and I am sure we will be eating it a lot! Thank you.
