  • 5 italian sausage (large, casings removed, or use about 2 pounds all Italian sausages, casings removed!)
  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes (dried, or to taste)
  • 28 ozs tomatoes with juice (diced)
  • 28 ozs chicken broth (undiluted)
  • 15 ozs white kidney beans (cannellini, drained)
  • 1/2 cup elbow macaroni (small)
  • 6 ozs baby spinach leaves
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese (additional for sprinkling)
