  • 1 pie pumpkin (see step 1)
  • 1 cup sugar (see step 10 for alternatives)
  • 11/2 tsps ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp ground cloves
  • 1 tsp ground allspice
  • 1/2 tsp ground ginger
  • 1/2 tsp salt (I don't use any, optional)
  • 4 large eggs
  • 3 cups pumpkin (glop, ok... "sieved, cooked pumpkin")
  • 18 ozs evaporated milk (I use the nonfat version)
