  • 1 loaf bread (day old, preferably homemade)
  • 2 tbsps butter
  • 1 onion (minced)
  • 1 cup celery (minced)
  • 3 garlic cloves (crushed, or 1 tsp. garlic powder added with other dried herbs and spices below)
  • 1 tbsp dried sage
  • 1 tbsp dried parsley
  • 1 tbsp dried mixed herbs (mixed)
  • 1 tsp ground pepper (fresh)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/8 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 2 eggs (beaten)
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth (more or less depending on how moist you like your stuffing)
