  • 50 grams garlic (finely chopped)

  • 2 12 pieces cinnamon

  • 3 cardamoms
  • 1 tbsp cumin seed
  • 3 tomatoes (medium, chopped)
  • 4 tsps coriander (powder, heaped tsps.)
  • 12 tsp chili powder (red)
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 12 tsps turmeric (powder)
  • 14 tsp black pepper
  • 1 12 tsps salt
  • 2 lemons (each sliced into 2 halves)
  • cilantro (finely chopped, a handful)
  • 2 onions (medium, sliced lengthwise)
  • 1 lemon (cut in 2 halves, so that you can squeeze the lemon juice all over the channa for that added taste)
