  • 15 ozs red kidney beans (or 1, 15 ounce can black beans)
  • 1 onion (medium, diced, 3 oz)
  • 41/2 ozs green chilies (or 1 chopped anaheim chili)
  • 29 ozs diced tomatoes
  • 15 ozs yellow hominy
  • 1 cup low sodium tomato sauce
  • 1 cup fat-free chicken broth (depending on how thick you like your chili!)
  • 1 tbsp chili powder
  • 1 tbsp cumin
  • 1 tsp garlic salt
  • 2 garlic cloves (minced)
