  • 13 cup red wine (or 1/3 cup cranberry juice)

  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 12 cup minced onion
  • 4 12 ozs mushrooms (reserve juice)
  • 1 can water chestnut (sliced,drained)
  • 1 package chinese pea pods (frozen)
  • 2 tbsps cornstarch
  • 14 cup hot water
  • 4 cups rice (hot cooked, or 4 cups noodles)
