  • 1 lb lump crab meat (fresh, shells removed, or 2 cans of canned crabmeat if fresh isn't available)
  • 2 tsps cajun seasoning (or 2 teaspoons Old Bay Seasoning, or to taste, optional)
  • 4 tbsps butter (plus)
  • 3 tbsps melted butter
  • 1/2 cup onion (minced)
  • 1/4 cup celery (minced)
  • 1/4 cup green bell pepper (minced)
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley (chopped)
  • 1 tbsp garlic (minced)
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 eggs (beaten)
  • 3 tbsps fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp hot sauce
  • 1 cup crackers (buttery, crushed)
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp ground black pepper (fresh)
