This recipe is delicious while being light. It would make a great side for almost any meat dish in my opinion, especially fish. But, I have also eaten it as the main dish and enjoyed it just as much. My meat eating boyfriend just wasn't keen on it being the only thing in a meal :) I would also say that, while the taste profile here says that it's more bitter and spicy than anything, I think that the tomatoes lend a notable sweetness to it, especially if the tomatoes are homegrown :)
