Pomegranate, also known as the “winter jewel” (and “the fruit of the dead” because of its role in Greek mythology), is a versatile, beautiful fruit often heralded for its nutritional value. Some avoid eating it because of its strange looks and many seeds, but if you can get past those minor annoyances, you’ll see how delicious it can be! It makes a beautiful addition to cocktails, salads, dessert, and is also wonderful paired with certain poultry and fish. Peel open a pomegranate for yourself and check out these fabulous recipes!
